Esti Gumpertz, M.D.
Dr. Esti Gumpertz received her Bachelors degree, Summa Cum Laude, from Queens College, New York. After graduating from State University of New York Downstate Medical Center in 1982, her post-graduate medical training included an internship at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and a three year dermatology residency at University Hospitals, in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Gumpertz is certified by the American Board of Dermatology, and was inducted as a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology in 1986.
An active member of the American Dermatology Association and the Ohio Dermatological Society, Dr. Gumpertz is an assistant clinical professor at Case Western University School of Medicine, is an attending physician at Hillcrest Hospital, Mayfield Heights, Ohio, and is the primary dermatologist for a number of Cleveland area nursing homes. Her patients range in age from newborn to over 100 years.
Recognized as an authority in her specialty field of medicine, she has participated in many local health-related activities, has been consulted by the media on various dermatological issues, and has been featured on live radio. Dr. Esti Gumpertz has been serving the skin care needs of Clevelanders (and their neighbors, friends and relatives!) in the Lyndhurst/Mayfield Heights area since 1988. Dr. Gumpertz does not work with or employ physician assistants or medical technicians, but gives all her patients her personal care and attention.
Dr. Gumpertz is married, and has four children. She has been proud to call Cleveland her home since 1983. She is an active member of many local cultural institutions, and is a frequent visitor to the Cleveland Play House, Cleveland Orchestra, the Cleveland Museums of Art and Natural History, and the Cleveland Botanical Garden.
In her practice she provides a range of dermatologic services to her patients, which include
- skin cancer screenings,
- the diagnosis and treatment of skin conditions,
- dermatologic surgery, and
- cosmetic dermatology.
Dr. Gumpertz focuses on each patient as an individual, providing personal service geared to his or her specific needs and concerns.

We make every effort to eliminate unnecessary delays in your seeing the doctor, and pride ourselves in providing an environment that is relaxed, professional, and welcoming to our patients, old and new alike.
Tina, our receptionist, will be pleased to set up your appointment to see Dr. Gumpertz, and will answer any questions you may have about our practice. If you need to reschedule an appointment, try to giveTina at least 24 hours notice. This courtesy not only avoids any liability on your part for a missed appointment but, more importantly, may allow us to fit in another patient who needs to see Dr. Gumpertz on short notice.
